Our RnD team today identified that UK retailers have started actively using Google ad Extensions. As an example the mobile retailer, Mobilefun is showing product extensions in their ads, as shown below.
Adthena detected only a few appearances in the search results of the product extension ads but it is likely to get more consistent as more retailers test the product listings with the new ad extension features.
Their impression and impact on CTR is not known but our RnD team will update more and we will get our results out for our readers.
