Welcome to our ‘Meet the Team’ blog where we introduce you to some of the talented minds across Adthena’s search intelligence business.

Annika Najjar joined Adthena in April 2023, bringing with her a wealth of experience from her previous role at Salesforce. During her tenure, she specialized in sales development and customer marketing, catering to enterprise-level accounts within the manufacturing and high-tech industries. Annika supported the complete product suite, demonstrating her proficiency in navigating complex business landscapes.

In her role in customer marketing at Salesforce, Annika played a key role in fostering strategic internal alignment. Her efforts extended to content creation, initiating the customer storytelling journey across a variety of channels. This multifaceted approach allowed her to make a significant impact on customer engagement and brand narrative.

Gina: Tell us about your role as Customer Marketing Manager at Adthena?

Annika: As a Customer Marketing Manager, I am fortunate enough to be leading Adthena’s customer marketing function. I handle all marketing efforts for current customers and I absolutely love it.

Gina: What set you on your path to a career in Customer Marketing?

Annika: I never thought I would want to leave sales, but after having my oldest daughter and Covid hit, I was ready for a complete change. Customer marketing is the perfect blend of customer interaction and chasing a number that impacts the business.

Gina: Can you share a success story where your expertise and leadership really wowed a client with Adthena?

Annika: Customer marketing at Adthena is a true team effort. Working with the customer teams to pitch a customer for an opportunity has been a great experience that everyone has fully embraced.

Gina: Have there been any guiding stars or mentors who have played a pivotal role in shaping your professional journey?

Annika: Kathleen Kelleher pushed me very hard at a time that was pivotal in my career. She knew exactly what motivated me and taught me that data does not lie. I think about her often when I think of my successes in my career. Without Kathleen, many of those would not have happened.

Gary Galloway is a true north star when it comes to amazing managers. Gary gives me all the direction I need as I am new to the industry, but also is the number one supporter of my ideas. I will never be able to thank Gary enough for the encouragement he gives me as a working mom. He knows firsthand that being a parent comes first.

Gina: What’s your secret sauce for staying super productive?

Annika: Trello board keeps me extremely organized. I am someone who has to write things down or I will forget (mom brain).

Gina: What are your passions or hobbies that spark joy for you?

Annika: I love to take walks. Walking absolutely brings me joy. I am very lucky to live in such a beautiful, walkable city and I do not take it for granted.

Gina: What book, movie, music, etc. has transformed your outlook on life?

Annika: Atomic Habits by James Clear. It gave me the confidence to set goals by creating clear, achievable actions that easily turned into habits. I remember the first time I read it, I was on the beach in Mexico and I had 5 different people stop me to say how much the book had impacted them.

Gina: If you could grab a coffee with anyone, from any time period, reality, or story, who would it be and why?

Annika: Jackie Onassis. I have always been so intrigued by her relationship with JFK and that era of the 1950’s and 1960’s in the US.
